After celebrating my 60th birthday, I knew I was ready for a change. I wasn’t quite ready for plastic surgery, but knew I had to do something. This procedure was great for me as the results were immediate. It really tightened up my skin that had begun to sag.

FAQ'S

How does it work?

PDO Threads are hypodermic needles that contain absorbable polydioxanone (PDO) sutures, which play an important role in this non-surgical body contouring procedure. PDO threads are one of the safest materials to insert into the body. Plus, PDO Threads dissolve within the body after 4-6 months following your non-surgical body-lifting session. Threads can be used in many areas such as the abdomen, thighs, arms, and breasts.

What can I expect during the treatment?

There are two types of procedures with PDO Threads. The first one uses smooth threads, creating a mesh under the skin. This mesh serves as the foundation for new collagen production. This technique tightens the skin naturally from within.

The second technique uses barbed threads, delivering a more dramatic and immediate result. The PDO sutures have ‘barbs’ that provide a grip underneath the skin. The sutures are inserted the same way, except that they can be pulled in one or two directions, creating an instant skin repositioning.

What are the results?

Depending on the area of the body treated, you may see a lifted and firmer thighs, a reduced appearance of cellulite, rounder and perkier breasts or buttocks, and even the results of a tummy tuck without surgery.

Is it safe?

Yes! In fact, PDO threads are FDA-approved and regularly used in heart surgeries. They are a non-allergenic and non-reactive material, so your skin does not reject it or otherwise react negatively to it.
