How does it work?
Using gentle, yet effective BBL energy to heat hair follicles, the revolutionary Forever Bare BBL treatment is as comfortable as a hot stone massage. Not only does it remove hair right away, it’s proven to permanently reduce hair growth (with regular treatments) giving you longer-lasting results.. The Sciton laser employs a unique computer guided scanning system that automates the treatment, ensuring that your skin is rapidly and evenly treated. This laser also selectively targets your hair follicles and heats them with infrared energy. Laser hair removal works on most men and women and on all types of skin including tanned skin and skin of color.
What can I expect during the treatment?
Laser hair removal treatments are comfortable and safe. A clear gel will be applied to the skin. Then, the BBL energy is delivered with a cooled applicator so there is minimal or no discomfort. We’ll choose either to glide the applicator on the skin or stamp it depending on size and location of your treated area. During the treatment, some patients experience a warm or stinging sensation in the treatment area. For your safety, your eyes will be protected with safety shields or glasses. Personal sensitivity varies from patient to patient. Discuss your sensitivity with your clinician before treatment.
Treatment time will vary depending upon the size of the area treated and your hair and skin type. Typically, a smaller area only takes a few minutes while a large area can take 15 minutes or longer.
What are the results?
Immediately following your treatment, you may experience some redness that should go away within a few hours. A few days to a week after treatment you may experience what seems to be regrowth of hair. Most of these hairs are actually being shed as a result of your Forever Bare BBL treatment and are not growing back.
Minimal aftercare is needed. We’ll provide you with more information on what to expect plus an aftercare plan to follow that will involve avoiding direct sun exposure and using SPF.
Most areas require 3-5 treatments applied at 4-6 week intervals to achieve optimal benefit. Long-term results depend on multiple factors such as hair thickness, the area treated and the hair’s growth cycle.
Is it safe?
